00:02 - Start that discussion, Joe.
00:04 Jalen Hurts, 8,800 on Fandle, 8,300 on DK.
00:09 Still going to be a widely used option across the board.
00:14 How do you play Hurts here this week?
00:16 - Early and often, certainly in cash games.
00:20 He is the number two fantasy quarterback right now.
00:22 He is the number one ranked fantasy quarterback this week
00:25 over on Fantasy Pro's consensus ranking.
00:27 So Jalen Hurts is, you know, he's been terrific.
00:30 I mean, I don't see how he's not the MVP.
00:33 I know people are talking about CJ Stroud
00:35 and that's a fun story.
00:36 He's already by far the rookie of the year.
00:38 So that's already been settled, I think.
00:40 But I mean, when does Jalen Hurts get more credit?
00:42 They've lost one game all year
00:44 and it was a hiccup game to the Jets, a very good defense.
00:47 They were on the road, out of conference.
00:49 You know, these things happen sometimes,
00:50 just lack of familiarity.
00:52 But I'm looking at Jalen Hurts and his game log.
00:55 It's been unbelievable.
00:56 You go through since, you know,
00:58 all the way back September 25th,
01:00 21 points, 24 points, 28 points, 22 points,
01:02 24 points, 27 points, 25.
01:05 Oh no, last week against Kansas City,
01:07 the class of the AFC, 19 points.
01:09 So you know what you're getting here with Jalen Hurts.
01:12 You put him with A.J. Brown, you put him with Smith,
01:14 you could put him with Swift if you want to.
01:15 There's lots of stacks here.
01:17 And you have to imagine that Buffalo is going to do its job
01:19 and keep pace in this game.
01:21 So this is going to be a very chalky game today.
01:22 We talked about some of these great indivision matchups.
01:24 Well, this is another potential Super Bowl preview,
01:27 just like last week.
01:28 So back to back weeks here,
01:30 Jalen Hurts gets to make some statements.
01:32 They made a statement last week.
01:33 They didn't quit in that game.
01:35 Came back in the second half, won that game.
01:38 I think they needed that game more than the Chiefs did.
01:41 And I think this is another opportunity here
01:42 for them to sort of assert their dominance and say,
01:44 "Hey, we're not only the best team in the NFC,
01:46 "we're the best team in the NFL."
01:48 And I think some of the pieces that are still missing
01:51 from that defense in Buffalo,
01:54 I think are going to show up here.
01:55 They didn't show up last week
01:56 because you're talking about Zach Wilson and the Jets.
01:58 So that's not as big of a deal, but this is Jalen Hurts.
02:01 This is the Eagles.
02:02 This is a much different offense.
02:04 Even without Dallas Goddard,
02:05 they've got so many different ways that they can beat you.
02:07 And Jalen Hurts' rushing equity is off the charts too.
02:09 So I think there's a great opportunity here
02:11 in this game today.
02:12 If you're looking for the rushing equity too,
02:14 he's going to be somewhere in that 30 plus yard range.
02:16 I would think at minimum.
02:18 You know he has touchdown equity too.
02:19 That's the thing he brings to the table also,
02:21 the rushing touchdowns, which are absolutely huge.
02:24 He's got three in his last two games.
02:26 He's got a rushing touchdown in every game this year,
02:29 except for three.
02:32 So that is an incredible statistic there.
02:34 So you're talking about a very high threshold of points
02:36 that you can lock in.
02:37 And if you can make it work in tournaments,
02:39 I think Hurts is another guy too
02:41 that is just one of these must-start guys.
02:42 And also you want the other side to push the total.
02:46 And I think the Buffalo Bills can do that.
02:48 And that's even better for Hurts' value today in week 12.
