SKorean president strengthens UK ties in state visit

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol strengthenties with Britain during his state visit, signing a new diplomatic accord with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak called the ‘Downing Street Accord.’ The agreement enhances cooperation in technology, defense, and security, deepening the long-standing relationship between the two countries. Additionally, the leaders agreed to begin negotiations on an expanded UK-South Korea free trade deal.
