Hosts India lost the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 final against Australia by six wickets at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Sunday (November 19). After the defeat, head coach Rahul Dravid said they "were the favourites because we were playing well" but conceded that the Aussies played better than India on the day.
