FDA Recalls Eye Drops Sold at CVS, Target, Walmart and Rite Aid Over 'Unsanitary Conditions'
Eye drops sold under several labels at CVS, Target, Walmart, and Rite Aid are being recalled after the FDA found "unsanitary conditions" at the manufacturing facility. The recalled eye drops were distributed by Kilitch Healthcare India Limited and have expiration dates between November 2023 to December 2025. Using the recalled eye drops can potentially lead to eye infections or worsening eye problems as they are meant to be sterile. No injuries have been reported so far related to the recalled products. However, the FDA advises anyone who has purchased these eye drops to throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
