Essex woman told she had two years to live runs half marathon after life-saving transplant

26-year-old Georgie Cooper was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at age two and was told in 2018 that she had a maximum of two years to live. But since then, she has climbed Snowdon in August 2022 and run the Bath Half Marathon in October 2023 thanks to a double lung transplant from a donor she calls "the greatest hero [she] never knew".
