Husqvarna’s all-new mid-displacement four-stroke cross-country racer is revved to its 13,400 rpm limit on the Dirt Rider dyno to see what it’s capable of.

Husqvarna’s FX 350 is one of its three cross-country motorcycles that were given a complete overhaul for 2023. Several updates were made to the Austrian manufacturer’s mid-displacement four-stroke powerplant to increase peak performance, add torque, and help enhance the bike’s overall handling. Among the many changes include a completely redesigned DOHC cylinder head, higher compression ratio (up from 14.2:1 to 14.6:1), and new gearbox. Rev limit remains the same at 13,400 rpm. Husqvarna also tilted the fuel-injected liquid-cooled 350cc four-stroke engine two degrees back to improve mass centralization.

To determine peak output from the all-new 2023 Husqvarna FX 350, we ran it on our in-house Dynojet 250i rear-wheel dynamometer, where we documented peak figures of 50.9 hp at 11,400 rpm and 26.8 lb.-ft. of torque at 8,800 rpm. Compared to the prior-generation model, that’s an increase of 1.8 hp and 1.3 lb.-ft. We’ve already gone over the technical information about the FX 350 and are in the process of testing on the trail and track, so stay tuned to dirtrider.com for our full review of this versatile off-road competition motorcycle.
