Former President Trump's civil trial in New York over allegations of fraud at the Trump Organization seems to have hit close to home for Trump and become increasingly personal for him. The case originated in New York, where Trump built his real estate business career and fame and threatens Trump's reputation as a successful businessman, which was central to his political brand. Trump has lash out angrily at the judge and prosecutors on the case. He testified himself and his children Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Ivanka Trump have also testified, which Trump argued should not be necessary. Michael Cohen, Trump's former fixer, also testified against him.
