Laure cherishes game vs idol Pontillas

Chery Tiggo ace spiker Eya Laure says she cherished playing against her idol and fellow UST standout Aizo Maizo-Pontillas for the first time ever in the 2023 PVL 2nd All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena on Saturday, November 4.

Laure, who countered Maizo-Pontillas' 14 points with 21 markers and 12 digs, said it was Maizo-Pontillas and her game that inspired her to pursue playing volleyball.

Other than the individual stats, Laure, 24, also beat Maizo, 35, in the team game, with her Crossovers getting past the Angels, 25-15, 27-25, 18-25, 25-23.
