Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 135 (Arabic Recitation): “ وَقَالُواْ كُونُواْ هُودًا أَوۡ نَصَٰرَىٰ تَهۡتَدُواْۗ قُلۡ بَلۡ مِلَّةَ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ حَنِيفٗاۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ ”
Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 135 (English Translation): “ They say, "Be Jews or Christians [so] you will be guided." Say, "Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not of the polytheists." ”
Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 135 (Urdu Translation): “ یہ کہتے ہیں کہ یہود و نصاریٰ بن جاؤ تو ہدایت پاؤ گے۔ تم کہو بلکہ صحیح راه پر ملت ابراہیمی والے ہیں، اور ابراہیم خالص اللہ کے پرستار تھے اور مشرک نہ تھے۔ ”
The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Mohammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC). Surah Al-Baqarah is the second chapter of the Quran.
