A 21-year-old Cornell University student named Patrick Dai was arrested and charged with making threats to kill or injure Jewish students on campus. On Sunday, Dai allegedly posted online that he wanted to shoot up a building where Jewish students gathered and threatened to stab male students and sexually assault females. Dai faces up to 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted. The threats caused fear in the Jewish community in Ithaca and led to increased security on campus.
