Saudi Arabia seeks 2034 World Cup hosting rights

Saudis are the only ones bidding to host the 2034 World Cup, and the decision will be official by the end of next year if they meet all criteria. Since there's no competition, there's little suspense, but questions arise about the environmental impact of the 2030 event and if the 2034 tournament aligns with FIFA's human rights commitments.
