First Foreigners Evacuate Gaza , Through Rafah Border Crossing.
The border crossing into Egypt opened on Nov. 1 for the first time since Hamas attacked Israel last month, CBS News reports.
Gaza's Interior Ministry released
a list of passport holders who are
allowed to exit via the Rafah crossing. .
Hundreds of foreign travelers and the wounded
have begun to leave the war-torn area.
Five American non-governmental
organization (NGO) workers are confirmed to be on the list of foreigners allowed to leave.

It is not yet clear how many more of the
hundreds of Americans stuck in Gaza will be able
to leave in the coming days, CBS News reports.
545 individuals are expected
to be evacuated at this time.
At least 81 of those people will be transported
in ambulances for medical treatment.
