Manawar, a tribal constituency with over 80% Bhil population in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, is all set to go to polls in the upcoming Assembly elections on November 17. However, the villagers here have been upset with the government - past and present - since their land was taken from them for setting up a cement giant's factory on false promises of jobs. Outlook's Abhik Bhattacharya speaks to the villagers, most of whom are Adivasis, as they narrate how Congress, in its 15 months of government, did nothing for them, and the same was continued by Shivraj Singh Chouhan's BJP government.
