Footage released on Monday evening showed Yochved Lifshitz, 85, and Nurit Cooper, 79, being handed over to the Red Cross at the Rafah crossing by black-clad masked Hamas gunmen. As she's about to leave, Yochved turns to one of the masked gunmen, reaching out her hand and offers a simple blessing to him: 'Shalom'. 'Shalom' is the Hebrew word for peace and harmony, and is used by Jewish people to mean both hello and goodbye
