00:00 I remember when I ran the truck race here in 2012.
00:06 That was my first time here.
00:09 We had a really good race and led some of it.
00:13 I got to battle with Kyle Busch for a little while.
00:17 I was running fairly high and then he passed me and stuck his hand out the window and told
00:22 me to get higher.
00:25 So I just started running as high as I could.
00:28 At least at a point in the corner I would get really close to the wall.
00:32 Once you do that a few times you can feel the effect that the right side of the car
00:38 has against the wall.
00:41 So then over time you just start pushing it and entering higher and you start getting
00:45 that wall at an earlier point in the corner and eventually you just end up running right
00:49 next to the wall the whole lap.
00:52 I watched a little bit of my first Xfinity race.
00:55 I ran here in 2013 last night and just seeing the difference of how I ran back then.
01:00 Even back then I cheated the entry some and would slide up to the wall.
01:04 Then I just think as years go on, like I said, you just get more comfortable entering higher.
01:11 Then obviously they're reading lap times off to you and you can feel it too.
01:15 When you read a lap time off that's two tenths better than a lap before, you know that it
01:20 was faster.
01:21 You just keep pushing it and obviously I've hit the wall here a lot, but to get comfortable
01:26 you have to make those mistakes.
