Shortness of breath at night? Try these 2 simple breathing techniques as guided by Dr Gayathri Yenamala (PT)

☝2-4-2 breathing pattern:
-Inhale deeply through your nose for 2 counts.
-Hold your breath for 4 counts.
-Exhale slowly through your nose for 2 counts.

✌Single-nostril breathing:
-Place your index finger on one nostril and close it.
-Breathe in deeply through the other nostril.
-Exhale slowly through the nostril that you had closed.
-Repeat steps 3-5 on the other side.
