Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation on Wednesday in Beijing. Xi unveiled an eight-point vision for the Belt and Road Initiative, including priorities around funding, green development, debt sustainability, public health, cultural and people-to-people exchanges. Over 140 countries and 32 international organizations attended the forum, held to mark the 10th anniversary of the BRI. Leaders discussed challenges and opportunities for collaborative infrastructure and development projects along the Belt and Road.
