F1 drivers take on golfers for Netflix Cup, the streaming service's first ever sports event
  • 6 months ago
Netflix is set to broadcast its first ever live sports event which will see Formula One drivers take on each other and pro golfers around eight holes in Las Vegas. Alex Albon, Pierre Gasly, Lando Norris, and Carlos Sainz will all swap their F1 machinery for golf clubs as they take part in The Netflix Cup competition. The event will tie in with the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix which is being held November 16-18. They will tee off alongside Rickie Fowler, Max Homa, Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas. One pro golfer will partner with one driver and they will score as a pair. Wynn Golf Club at Wynn Las Vegas, sin city’s only 18 hole course, is hosting the action.
