Yasmin Victória dos Santos Fatal Crash @ Rali Vinho da Madeira 2022

The 63th edition of Rali Vinho da Madeira was marred by a fatal accident which took the life of a young female spectator. It happened on Saturday, 06 August 2022.
During the seventeenth and last special stage of the rally "Rosário 2", the BMW 320i E36 bearing the race number #57, driven by Miguel Gouveia-Tiago Fernandes hit the eight-year-old girl named Yasmin Victória dos Santos, who tried to cross the road before the car in the village of Serra de Água, Ribeira Brava, Madeira.
Yasmin Victória dos Santos, from Câmara de Lobos, Madera, Portugal, suffered serious injuries and was taken to nearby Hospital Particular da Madeira in Funchal, where she passed away shortly after admission.
2022 Rali Vinho da Madeira was a round of Portuguese and Madeira Rally Championships. Alexandre Camacho and Pedro Calado were the winners in Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo.
