Budget 2024: Defence, Home Ministries receive RM38.7bil to enhance national security

The Defence Ministry has been allocated RM19.7bil, an increase of RM2bil compared from this year, while the Home Ministry will receive RM19bil, an increase of RM500mil from this year, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He said to strengthen the level of the country's defence and security preparedness, the government will begin the process of acquiring new assets.
