US Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Warns Iran: Stay Out of Israel-Palestine Conflict
  • 7 months ago
General Charles Q. Brown Jr., Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has warned Iran against involvement in the Israel-Palestine conflict and expressed a desire to prevent further escalation. The US is providing extra supplies and assistance to Israel, and the Pentagon is sending an aircraft carrier strike group closer to Israel as a show of support and deterrence. The White House has accused Iran of being complicit, although there is no evidence of their direct participation in attacks by Hamas. Lebanese armed group Hezbollah has also launched rockets into northern Israel.
