Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has been covered in glitter by a protester as he took to the stage to address the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool.The start of Sir Keir’s speech was disrupted shortly after 2pm on Tuesday by the protester who shouted: “true democracy is citizen led”.The Labour leader pushed the activist away from the microphone with his right arm before security arrived.
