Prince William and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge hosted the couple at their Sandringham home over Christmas in 2017. Meghan Markle's invite to share the holidays with the Royal Family has been described as a "rare honour" as she was not yet married to Prince Harry, although they were engaged.
