In a breakthrough in struggle to reduce aircraft noise on Brisbane, three large airlines using the international airport can now come to Gulf of Moreton. An agreement on aircraft Tailwind speed is the first of four significant changes in runway operations after negotiations between Brisbane Airport Corporation, Major Airlines, corpse that controls airports, and local community. Jetstar will start using a newer, quieter modern aircraft in Brisbane and will change its current fleet. Airports and aircraft are obliged to monitor Civil Aviation Safety Administration Directives, including maximum tail wind rate when they approach the aircraft and leave airports. Until 2017, Brisbane Airport had a maximum of 10 knot tail wind speed without security incidents.
