‘Despicable’ GB News' Gallacher in fury at French runner for ‘disgusting' sportsmanship

Tokyo 2020 has come to a close in Japan with Team GB equalling their best-ever medal haul following two weeks on non-stop sporting action. And while Team GB’s performance has often been centre of conversation on GB News over the past fortnight, Simon McCoy and Kirsty Gallacher turned their attention to French marathon runner Morhad Amdouni on Monday morning. And Kirsty was full of fury about the runner after he appeared to knock over a number of water bottles in his race - preventing other runners from staying hydrated. Morhad Amdouni sparked a furious backlash after the clip emerged from the Olympic’s marathon when he and other runner approached a drinks’ table.
