Prince William Jokes at Royal Appearance: ‘Who’s Pinching My Bottom?’.
That’s a bit cheeky!

During a visit to the Grange Pavillion in Cardiff, Wales, on Tuesday, Prince William was filmed jokingly asking, “Who’s pinching my bottom?” while having his photo taken with a crowd of people.

In the video shared on TikTok, the group burst into laughter at the quip.

Kate Middleton, who was standing next to William perhaps didn’t quite believe he was kidding, as she took a quick glance down to check who may have been pinching her husband’s bottom.

Royal fans were delighted by the comment.

“He’s so funny He never fails to bring a smile on people’s faces,” read one comment while another noted: “Whose pinching me bottom William we know where louis gets it from,” referencing William’s son, Prince Louis’ cheeky antics.

William, 41, seemingly learned from his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, that a well-timed comment can loosen up any awkwardness over posing for a group photo.

The TikTok video compared his quip to Elizabeth’s June 2021 appearance at the G7 summit.

In the video shared by the BBC, the late monarch can be heard dryly asking fellow world leaders, “Are you supposed to be looking as if you’re enjoying yourself?”

The comment caused the group, which included former Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, start laughing as a photographer snapped photos.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were in the Welsh capital to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the HMT Empire Windrush’s arrival in London, along with the start of Black History Month in the UK.

The HMT Empire Windrush’s June 1948 arrival in London brought over many people from the Caribbean to settle permanently in the UK. The term “Windrush generation” refers to people who migrated to the United Kingdom in the post-war years up to 1973, especially those from the Caribbean.

It’s been a packed schedule for the royal couple the last few weeks.

In September they were in New York to engage in meetings to promote the Earthshot Prize, an environmental foundation that William founded in 2020.

During their brief visit to the Big Apple, William managed to go for a jog in Central Park and don a pair of waders to take part in a sustainability initiative in the East River.

He also visited FDNY’s Ten House in downtown Manhattan to talk about mental health.

Last Friday, they met with Apple CEO, Tim Cook at Buckingham Palace.

Middleton, 41, horrified her fashion followers by wearing the same pinstripe suit she had worn earlier in the week.
