Princess Diana's younger brother retweeted a story from the BBC, in which they reported that The Wanted musician, Tom Parker, has said that NHS Brain cancer treatment needs "massive improvement". Earl Spencer, 57, said: "This is sadly true: the funding to fight brain cancer is simply inadequate, & it’s the type of cancer that claims more under-40s than any other. "I'm proud to be one of the many patrons of @BrainTumourOrg who want this to change for the better." Earl Spencer has personal links with the cause as his own grandmother, Countess Cynthia Spencer, died of a brain tumour in 1972, in her seventies.
