जीवित्पुत्रिका व्रत को ज्युतिया या जितिया के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यह व्रत बिहार, झारखंड और यूपी में सबसे ज्यादा प्रचलित है। ज्युतिया व्रत की पूजा एक दिन पहले सू शुरू होती है और तीसरे दिन खत्म होती है। छठ पूजा की तरह इसमें भी नहाय-खाय के साथ व्रत का विधान शुरू होता है। पहले दिन नहाय खाय करने के साथ ही महिलाएं पूजा करती है और अगले दिन खुर ज्युतिया को मुख्य व्रत का पालन करती हैं। यह पूरी तरह से निर्जला व्रत होता है और व्रत के अगले दिन पारण किया जाता है। तो आइए ज्युतिया व्रत पारण समय और विधि क्या है... ?
