Major flood warning issued for the port of Sale overnight

The flood threat is easing in some areas of eastern Victoria but intensifying in others as water moves downstream. A major flood warning has now been issued for part of sale in Gippsland. The Thomson River is below the minor flood level now but is likely to exceed the major level. The flood through areas immediately downstream from Lake Glenmaggie was not as bad as expected but there has been water through dozens of properties.
