In a message issued back in February, the Queen described her “sincere wish” for the Duchess of Cornwall to take the title of Queen Consort when the Prince of Wales, 73, becomes monarch. She wrote in a Jubilee message: “It is my sincere wish that, when that time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service."
