NHS Junior doctors and consultants have gone on strike for 72 hours as part of a joint walkout in England.
Industrial action began at 7am on Monday October 2 and NHS England says it will bring non-emergency care to a ‘near standstill’.
Union members from the British Medical association are striking to achieve full pay restoration and will be walking out from Monday 2 to Thursday 5 October.
