The move comes ahead of Apple's upcoming launch event and follows Beijing’s recent move to ban the use of iPhones at some government offices. But China's Apple rival is now raising doubts as to how well U.S. export controls actually are. Until now, these restrictions have crippled Huawei’s business and their ability to acquire high-tech parts like chips and advanced processors.
