Fist Fight Breaks Out Between Two NASCAR Teams at Martinsville Speedway.
A massive fight between two NASCAR teams broke out at a racetrack in Virginia over the weekend, with a racecar ultimately falling victim to the brawl.

Multiple punches were thrown in the pit area of the historic Martinsville Speedway during the qualifiers of the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 race on Sunday, as tempers boiled over at the half-mile track.

Footage shows multiple crew members from both teams getting into two separate tangles near a line of a racecar.

A man was pushed onto the No. 42 purple car, which led to the vehicle's right front fender being completely deformed.

Another man was seen laying on the bare concrete after he was pushed to ground by others, as the identities of both teams have yet to be revealed.

The fight broke out after qualifying race No. 2 for Sunday's main event.

The race was supposed to take place on Saturday but was delayed due to weather concerns, as Hurricane Ophelia made its way to North Carolina - a neighboring state to Virginia.

Qualifying for the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 happened on Friday evening with Bobby McCarty turning in the fastest lap of the 84 cars on-site at 19.704 seconds.

His time is considered as a new Late Model Stock Car track record at Martinsville Speedway.

Fans unable to make it out to the 'paper clip' on Sunday will be able to watch the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 live on Fox Sports 1.

NASCAR's shortest track (0.526 miles) is also one of its most entertaining, a tightly coiled paperclip that forces drivers to mind their P's and Q's in the turns.

Joey Logano holds the record for the fastest lap in qualifying at Martinsville - 18.898 seconds (set in 2014).
