Queen's 'brutal' blow to Prince Andrew reduced him to tears

Prince Andrew has reached a settlement in principle in the civil sex case launched against him by Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre. Ms Giuffre was seeking damages from her legal action against the Duke of York having accused him of sexually assaulting her on three occasions. The Duke of York has always vehemently denied these allegations. Andrew was facing a full civil trial later this year and had reportedly demanded a trial by jury. However, an agreement in principle to settle has been reached. A statement in the letter to US judge Lewis A Kaplan, said the duke would make a "substantial donation to Ms Giuffre's charity in support of victims' rights". It added that Prince Andrew had ...
