The ASs of a relatively unknown virus are on a rapid rise in the new Southern Wales - but how dangerous? Human Metapneumovirus or HMPV has recorded 1168 cases throughout state in respiratory surveillance report of health department for week ending on September 16th. This rose from 713 per week on 27 August. HMPV cases are increasing in NSW At the same time, the Covid-19 case fell from 438 to 386 and 2250 from 2250 to 1424. However, today's Health Specialist Dr ..Nick Coatsworth tried to worry about a new viral fluctuation. “Not dangerous, but it has a long name,” he said. HMPV said it was one of the viruses that make up a cold. He said, "If I can assure people there, we'd take it every year or the second year." He continued "I know there is an increase in cases , I think we are a little too obsessed about circulating viruses." However, NSW University Professor William Rawlinson said that after a few years of protocol, such as masking and social distance to Sydney Morning Herald, the virus may have more serious effects than normal. "We see not only to see the increasing numbers, but also the people we think have a slight illness that typically tends to have a more severe disease."Said. HMPV was discovered only in 2001, according to the US Disease Control Centers. Symptoms include cough, fever, nasal congestion shortness of breath, and virus is most active in end of winter spring.
