A new exhibition sharing stories of hope and connection has arrived in Manchester City Centre.

'RISE: Stories of Healing and Hope' is a week-long audio-visual exhibition which launched in St Ann's Square on Wednesday September 20.

The display has been presented by Manchester Institute of of Health and Performance (MIHP), and created by the spoken stories company, Heard Storytelling.

Nine individuals who have risen above adversity share their deeply personal stories told in their own words - which are available to listen to through QR codes and on the website.

The exhibition uses photographs and audio to provide a glimpse into how these individuals navigated obstacles along their paths towards recovery.
