Creative mom on a budget makes DIY AC to channel cool air into kids' room
  • 7 months ago
The creativity showcased when one is on a budget is truly unmatched! This astonishing video provides a perfect example of such ingenuity.

"My family just moved across the country from GA to WA," the star of this footage, Maggie Perkins, told WooGlobe. "Like most people, we don’t have central AC in our home. During a brief heat wave, it was 90 degrees in my kids' room, even at night. The only type of AC unit that fits our windows is $400 and it seemed silly to buy a whole separate unit."

To combat the heat while ensuring her family didn't have to spend a hefty sum, Maggie took matters into her own hands and fashioned an air duct tube out of trash bags to channel cool air into the kids' room.

"It worked really well and cost less than $2 to set up," the filmer added.
