Analysis: TSMC Announces 100% Renewable Electricity by 2040

One of the world's biggest semiconductor manufacturers, TSMC, has announced it will now be aiming to achieve 100% renewable electricity by 2040. This is a more ambitious target than its original deadline of 2050. TaiwanPlus speaks to Chen Yung-jen, Climate and Energy Project Manager at Greenpeace Taiwan, about what this new goal means.
