The second Kodiaq generation is characterized by an even more sophisticated design, the use of sustainable materials and innovative technologies. This also includes the second generation of Matrix LED main headlights. Škoda offers two petrol and two diesel engines, each with an output of between 110 kW (150 hp) and 150 kW (204 hp). The 2.0 TDI with 142 kW (193 hp) and the 2.0 TSI with 150 kW (204 hp) are generally launched with all-wheel drive. The Kodiaq iV – the first plug-in hybrid model in the series – has a total output of 150 kW (204 hp) and achieves an electric range of more than 100 kilometers. A highlight is the entry-level 1.5 TSI engine with 110 kW (150 hp), with which mild hybrid technology is used for the first time in the Kodiaq. Both hybrid units are based on a new generation of the EA 211 evo2 engine series, which operates in the energy-efficient Miller cycle and uses turbochargers with variable turbine geometry. The 1.5 TSI with mild hybrid technology also has the latest version of active cylinder management (ACT+).
