A serving member of the British Army was arrested in relation to terrorism offences but escaped from HMP Wandsworth on 6 September.

A number if UK airports are implementing extra security checks during the search.

Next up, bin men are refusing to collect rubbish from a street in Scotstoun because it’s overrun with rats.

Earl Street is currently facing an infestation, with residents claiming the council is ignoring them.

While the issue came from the back court, bins have now been moved to the front while rodents are still being spotted.

And in other news, Maggie May’s in Glasgow is undergoing a £500,000 refurbishment and is set to become a country bar.

Plans will see the venue become an authentic saloon complete with a Bucking bronco where customers will be able to win prizes.
