Woman has lucky escape after car mounted kerb and smashed into shop

A woman had a lucky escape after a speeding car mounted the kerb and smashed into a shop - but missed her by inches.
The shopper was browsing when the vehicle appeared to smash straight into her, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, southern India.
The vehicle demolished the stands outside the shop, but miraculously, the woman escaped unscathed.
A local source said: "She then walked out of the area where she was standing in the first place to take a look in the direction where the car went.
"The car luckily missed her and she escaped unhurt. The cops are now on the lookout for the driver of the vehicle."
The smash happened on August 29.
