Donald Trump Arrested: Former US President Arrested In Georgia On Election Racketeering, Conspiracy Charges, Says ‘I Did Nothing Wrong’

On August 25, former US President Donald Trump was arrested at a Georgia jail, reported AFP. Trump was arrested on racketeering and conspiracy charges for trying to overturn the 2020 election results in the southern state, the report said. 77-year-old Trump was booked on 13 charges at Atlanta's Fulton County Jail, as per records published by the sheriff's office. Trump told reporters, “What has taken place here is a travesty of justice. We did nothing wrong.
