Japan discharges water from Fukushima power plant into the Pacific Ocean

Japan began Thursday the discharge into the Pacific Ocean of more than one million tons of accumulated radioactive wastewater from the Fukushima nuclear power plant in a plan championed by Tokyo and the UN regulatory agency, but strongly criticized by China.
