Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the largest housing project in the history of the Turkish Republic.
The project was announced at the Turkish Presidential palace in the capital, Ankara.
Turkey's goal in the project is to build 500,000 social housing, 250,000 buildable land, and 50,000 workplaces in all Turkish states in 2028.
moreover, this project will reduce house prices and rents across the country and will facilitate home ownership by citizens.
In addition, through this project, the number of social housing will increase to 2 million and the number of residents of these homes to more than 10 million.
The project has been called "My First Home", "My First Workplace".
As for the prices of homes that will be created within the framework of the project.
It is expected that Turkish people will be able to own homes consisting of two rooms and a hall at a total price of 608 thousand Turkish liras.
And with monthly installments starting from 2,000 pounds, for a period of 240 months.”
As for the houses consisting of 3 rooms and a hall.
The price will be 850 thousand Turkish liras and in installments of 3 thousand 187 liras, distributed over 240 months.”
The project also allocated a quota for young people between the ages of 18 and 30 years.
And they will have 50,000 homes, which is equivalent to 20 percent of the housing that will be built under the project."
Turkey also plans to establish 250 thousand social housing during the first phase of the project , Which will expire in two years.
In addition to applying for every citizen whose family income is less than 18,000 liras in Istanbul and 16,000 liras in other states.
