Fox News reports that health officials in Florida have
placed Broward County under a mosquito-borne illness
alert, as cases of dengue virus have increased.

According to the Florida Department of Health,
two cases of locally-acquired dengue
were reported in Broward County.
This year, there have been ten cases
of dengue reported in Florida, with most
of them in Miami-Dade County.
