Theakstons Whisky: After almost 200 years of brewing beer, Theakstons is now moving into the whiskey sector

After almost 200 years of brewing beer, Theakstons is now moving into the whiskey sector by distilling its own brand of spirits. The first batch won't be ready until next year, but they have the casks on site, as well as some sample bottles.
The move is the brainchild of Simon Theakston and he is with Chris Fraser from Ellers Farm which provide the barley.
