00:00 Africa's greatest predators have turned this place into a fierce battlefield.
00:07 And it is the people who dominate the land that terrifies all the animals whenever they see them in the African savannah.
00:16 Even strong and aggressive wild buffaloes need to be on guard when the kings of the pasture appear.
00:26 So what happens when injured forest buffaloes come upon these brutal and bloodthirsty predators?
00:33 Join us in following this video for answers.
00:38 In the extreme wilderness, if you want to survive, you've got to form large groups.
01:05 Animals also figured out that if they formed large groups, their chances of survival would be higher than if they lived alone.
01:15 It is often seen that hunting buffaloes is a game of survival.
01:22 It is often seen that hunting alone is not a difficult task for lions.
01:48 But as food sources are scarce, hunting alone is less successful than when other members join in.
02:14 Particularly for large, healthy prey, the end of their lives is much faster when hunting in groups.

02:55 One of the most dangerous prey that a lion must guard against is buffalo.
03:11 This is because forest buffalo are not only larger than lions, but are extremely aggressive.
03:18 With their strong horns and robust bodies, they can inflict large wounds on lions.
03:39 However, the ferocity and deviousness of these fellow kings always knows how to make their opponents lose.
03:55 When hunting in packs, each lion takes over a different position.
04:11 With bites at the neck, the prey will suffocate and quickly be subdued easily.
04:24 It can be seen that living in a group is far more profitable than being alone.
04:31 These two are forced to live in groups to support one another against the enemy, seeking food and shelter together.
04:52 Lions are mindful of observing and taking advantage of every opportunity to hunt, especially on elderly or injured prey.
05:06 Buffalos are not always able to survive and easily escape lion pursuits, especially when they are alone against predators.

05:34 Each team member's coordination skills are the key to a successful hunt where prey, no matter how strong, is quickly taken down.
06:03 Living alone would make any animal's life difficult and dangerous in the face of predators.
06:28 Every animal wants to live for a long time in this natural world, but the wild world is always destructive.
06:35 And if it is to survive, animals have to work together to support each other in feeding and in defense.
06:45 In particular, they have to equip themselves with their own survival experiences to be able to withstand and defend themselves when difficulties arise.
