Videos shared on social media show various angles of the accident involving the MIG23 that occurred this Sunday during the Thunder of Michigan Airshow in the US.

Apparently, the plane had an engine issue, and little is known beyond the fact that it emitted a flame. It's unclear whether this was due to the ingestion of a bird or a malfunction of the engine itself.

This very aircraft was recently at Oshkosh 2023, the world's largest airshow, where it was one of the stars of the event. It was the only privately owned MIG23 in the world.

Both pilots are doing well, and fortunately, the plane's crash did not result in any injuries in the populated area where it went down.
