Locals in western Jakarta suffer from pollution and prolonged dry season

Plastic waste covers beaches, and water levels in Indonesia's capital have dropped due to the extended dry season. Local fishermen like Arta Kusuma are affected as the waste has driven away fish. The intense heat from global warming impacted many people in Europe, Asia, and North America in July, as reported by the UN.
