IPL 2022: Mumbai Indians Unable To Close Matches, Laments Coach Mahela Jayawardene
  • 9 months ago
Punjab Kings’ opening batters Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal smashed half centuries to hand Mumbai Indians their fifth successive loss in the Indian Premier League in Pune on Wednesday. MI head coach Mahela Jayawardene said his team was not batting and bowling well in IPL 2022. The former Sri Lankan captain said Mumbai were missing Jofra Archer in the new-look bowling attack. The defeat has left MI in precarious position while Punjab Kings have six points and jumped to No. 3 in the IPL table on better net run-rate. (Video and photo courtesy IPL)
